These sessions will include the treatment of patients that present with same day problems such as those included in minor illness clinics.
The nurse practitioner will also manage some ongoing problems such as asthma and cancer care support.
Well woman and sexual health checks will also be undertaken. A daily telephone triage system will enable patients to obtain same day health advice for acute problems or be appropriately booked in to see a doctor or nurse the same day if necessary.
This service offers evidence based talking therapy for people struggling with depression or anxiety difficulties.
Patients can be seen within St Leonards Practice or at Compass House in Magdalen Road.
